💪 Eat NO Protein To Gain MORE Muscle
Hello everyone,
Today i want to talk about it
don't eat protein so you can build more muscle or preserve muscle,
This very important subject obviously affects anyone who tries to build muscle, whether it is a man or a woman.
But it also affects people over the age of 50 who want to preserve their muscle size as they age,
which is ironically a major cause of aging and death - muscle loss!
In fact, this is the reason why they give a lot of steroids and testosterone to AIDS patients,
to help inflate the muscles,
so when or if they get sick from an infection or disease and quickly lose a ton of muscle,
there is a "safety net" because without this muscle growth and that extra weight of "steroids",
they would lose too much muscle and they would die.
There are also many anti-aging benefits, which I will reveal in 2 minutes.
Anyway .... Having said that, let's get down to business.
Growing up in the 80s and 90s, I wanted to build more muscle ...
And all I heard was "eat more protein".
Now the first reason for this is because all of these muscle magazines were selling you protein powders.
However, apart from that,
the reason for the increased protein intake is that when you increase the protein intake,
there is an increase in protein synthesis, leading to greater "nitrogen retention",
which will ultimately lead to more muscle and less body fat.
Sure, I'm simplifying the process ... but you get it.
So, that's what I did.
I ate more and more protein.
At one point, with a body weight of 200 lbs, I was eating 600 grams of protein!
It's 3 times my body weight.
It was largely with protein supplements, powders and shakers,
Because I couldn't chew so much real food.
I was actually very disgusting.
I felt bloated and weak.
I could tell that my body was under extreme stress due to the constant fatigue.
I also had a lot more joint pain and my sleep was horrible.
The end result was not an additional muscle after 3 months of torture.
However, blood tests showed that my liver and kidneys were both under a lot of stress.
My first point is that you don't need as much protein.
Keep in mind that the moment when you grow the most is when you are a baby, right?
And breast milk only contains 5% protein. These are mainly carbohydrates (sugars) and fats.
In fact, I would say that the maximum you need is around 1 gram per pound of body weight.
So in my case, weighing around 200 pounds, I would need 200 grams.
Sometimes I eat a lot less and as you can see in my photos,
I did not lose muscle mass or gain fat.
And I still weigh around 200 pounds and I have more muscle now,
than when I ate more protein and I'll tell you how and why in a minute.
However, some would argue that you need more protein, but trust me, you don't need it!
If you work really hard 2-3 hours a day,
take lots of steroids
and are in your 20's when you can absorb more protein properly,
then you can make about 1.5 grams at most and so, if 200 pounds,
You can eat about 300 grams of protein
However, 99% of us are not part of this small minority.
Now there are a lot of problems with eating that much protein,
but the only main topic I want to discuss today is that the more protein you eat,
the faster it oxidizes and the faster it
decomposes.
So, the "experts" will say "more proteins therefore increase in protein synthesis" and yes,
but for about 48-72 hours, before your body adapts and increases protein oxidation,
which means that it breaks down faster and that protein synthesis decreases !!!
So the opposite is happening!
You start to lose muscle.
Your body is too smart, it will adapt every time.
So people increase protein even more and your body breaks it down even faster.
So what is the solution ?
You need a protein cycle by actually having one day a week without protein.
You can call it "protein fasting"
and believe me, you are not going to "lose" muscle.
In fact, you will gain muscle ...
If you do it right.
So how do you cycle the protein,
do not eat protein for 24 hours and actually build muscle
and burn more fat and most importantly, improve your hormones?
Let me tell you how I and my professional athletes do it.
On Sundays, I don't eat protein.
You can choose any day of the week, I only choose Sunday.
Monday, my body is now super sensitive to protein since it has no more for 24 hours.
So Monday and Tuesday, I have 150 grams of protein.
So that's 0.75 of 200 pounds of body weight.
So your weight (200 lbs for me) x 0.75 = 150 grams.
Then Wednesday and Thursday, I increase it by 25% to 200 grams.
Basically 200 (lbs) x 1 = 200 grams of protein, or "one gram per pound"
finally, Friday and Saturday I increase it again by 25% since the body has adapted again
and this time I take 250 grams.
That's 200 (lb) x 1.25 = 250 grams.
Every time my body has adjusted in about 48 hours,
I increase again to continue protein synthesis.
Then as my body adapts again, on Sunday I cheat on it and do not make proteins .....
A "fast protein"
Again, you're not going to lose muscle, so don't panic.
Trust me and do it.
Now what are the benefits?
1. Your body continuously increases protein synthesis every 48 hours, which results in increased muscle mass.
2. This prevents your body from adapting and increasing the oxidation of proteins, which can lead to muscle loss.
3. And most importantly, it all works because it helps optimize your hormones
by decreasing cortisol and other stress hormones ...
And by increasing muscle building hormones such as
testosterone, igf, gh, insulin, thyroid and so on.
Of course, this "protein fast" also has many health benefits, such as reducing inflammation,
which means more muscle, less joint pain and faster fat loss.
It also improves digestion and cell repair for the pancreas, liver, kidneys and so on.
It increases mitochondrial function and increases energy levels.
In fact, I can go on and on, but I hope you understand that.
Now that you have the formula, you need to implement it.
Results It will take you a few months to see the results, because building muscle takes time.
Of course, some of the benefits
improved digestion, reduced inflammation, more energy and so on are felt much earlier.
If you really want to increase your muscle building goals and lose your body fat,
by optimizing your testosterone and other "youth hormones", and also by increasing your libido .....
You can use the same proven formula for 20 years.
